The BiP Spammer Necro
I was seraching on PvX wiki for a build. I tried the testing section and I found this.
55 BiP
I was playing around with it. It was surprisingly good. But I found my own version.
[build prof=N/Mo box Blood=9+1+3 Soul=11+3 healing=8 prot=8][Blood is power][blood renewal][healing breeze][masochism][mending][protective spirit][Vigorous Spirit][renew life][/build]
or
switch [protective spirit] with [protective bond] if you want.
[Purifying Veil] switch with [Vigorous Spirit] if you want to to get rid of conditions earlier.
Armor:
ANY with +1 blood
2 Superior runes
Radiant doesn't matter, energy is good with this build.
Or
55 armor with 5 Superior runes and -50 HP cresta
Weapon:
+20% enchant would help, but isn't entirely needed.
Usage:
[protective spirit] + [mending] + [Vigorous Spirit]
Maintain [masochism]
Cast [blood renewal]+[healing breeze] when in battle
SPAM!!! [Blood is power] on everyone, healers, spell casters, tankers, Togo, everyone!
How to get it's full abilities.- You need 60 DP for it to work great. So when you start die 4 times. (good for MM's)
- But why die 4 times, why not be a 55? because if a 55 dies to much, your !@#$ed with 1 HP. With this build, if you die your ok. You should have 42 health to.
- Or, you can go the normal armor 55.
Counters:- Protection ignoring spells (Same with all 55's)
- powerful degen
- Henchies and Hero monks, you need 60 DP if you are using my way. To do that you need to die. Try flag henchies/heros away and cast BiP on an ally.
- Players that are to stupid to bring rez.
- Losing DP
The first two shouldn't be a problem unless you decided to tank with a necro.
How to use it:
Cast all of your self enchantments. Cast BiP on the 8 member party. The reapply the self enchantments, rinse and repeat.
WHY THE !@#$ IS IT CALLED 444?!
Because
When you take damage, you lose 4 Health, and lose 4 energy (With [protective bond].) When you cast BiP you gain 4 energy So I call it 444 BiP necro. If you are using my build.
Your probably thinking, another 55 build that fails. I thought that to but when I tried it. It's surprisingly good. Yes, the build has already been made in PvX but I wanna see what you guys think. The downfall is no damage output
Examples of it in action. More coming soon.
In Arborstone
In Temple (BiP on everyone)
Completing Boreas Seabed
Quotes(I asked them how did you like my build)

Unless you were carrying a 55 set with you to keep yer max health low as you gain exp from killing stuff, you'd have to keep dying wouldn't ya? ;o

ummm you know with a 55 you can just take off pieces of armor or switch to a non -50 set..... And you dont have to keep dying just to make the build work better

That's true... didn't think about that. It's just when I tried this with a 55 armor. As soon as I got 30 DP, I was useless. Hmmm, that's a good idea. When you got to big of a DP, switch armor Hmmmm
55 armor when starting
60 Health on armor (30 DP) if you die
42 health on armor (60 DP) when fighting normal.
I have to test it. 3 armor sets

Last I checked if you had 1 health and you used a skill that sacced a % it didn't take it away. And Prot bond seems almost useless. Prot spirit>prot bond.

Yeah, but if you take any damage with 1HP, you die. Right?
Prot spirit is good. The only problem is you have to keep it up. that means casting it over skills. If that prot spirit gets removed /dead. Besides that Prot spirit works just fine. If you want to use it, go ahead. It works just as good.

Think you were missing my point. If you take enough damage with prot bond up your basically killing your energy even with soul reaping it cant keep up. And with prot spirit you can actually help your out your monks by putting it on the frontline.

Isnt using 3 skill slots to get 16 regen a bit overkill when playing a build made to be way back who shouldnt get hit that much anyway?

Mending is used as an last resort, because you are spamming BiP, sometimes you forget to put up Blood renewal or healing breeze. If you don't forget, take out mending.
say if you had Afflicted Elementalist that used mind burn on you. -7 degen. and a Afflicted Mesmer used drain the enchantment blood renewal (10 second recharge). So, your left 3 regen. If you take out ANY of those enchants, you will be in 0 or negative regen. But that is just a random event. If you want to take out an enchant, go ahead.
Even backlines get targeted. Thats why I suggest protective bond. Sometimes a warrior runs up to you. With you spamming BiP that warrior shouldnt be a problem. With prot bond, you don't have to keep Protective spirit up. HOWEVER, if you have enemies coming at you from all sides. Prot spirit is the right choice. It's just when your spamming spells, you might spam the wrong spell on the wrong person.

Why mess with a good thing? I run 1hp BiP with awaken the blood (+7 BiP energy regen) spam it. Throw OoP. Stay the heck back. Just have to make sure your paty has a good res like Resurrection Chant. I hate dieing too but it just seems that your going to run into situations where you can't maintain your role with anything but a 1hp build.

I often went 1hp [Blood is Power] in Urgoz. With [Order of Pain] and an assortment of prot spells, and the obligatory [Necrotic Traversal], a very successful build and worked well there. Yes to maintain the 1hp, you have to die occasionly, but often the foes there will sort that out for you.

Another great skill to add is Ebon Battle Standard of Wisdom.
"You plant an Ebon Battle Standard of Wisdom at your current location. For 14...20 seconds, non-Spirit allies in this area have a 44...60% chance to halve skill recharge of spells they cast."
Coupled with BiP works great.

Your kidding right? If you still don't understand.
Providing all allies with somewhat endless energy, which calls for spamming skills.
You might as well said, what is the use is [word of healing] monk anyway?

So basically u spending a party slot to allow other players to run bad skill bars.
If you running a skill bar and having energy problems is time to change some skills around.
In some very rare situations where you are pressed by energy drain effects, blood ritual on an orders nerco or low spec blood on curses necro. or even a para with some party wide energy can do it in a pinch.
Any bar where you have to run 3 self heals is a bad bar in my book. Any bar that needs a Bipper is an awfull bar in my book.

I don't really look at it like that. I basically see it as allowing your party to get rid of the skills they would use for energy management in favor for skills that can help the party further. Also, like I stated, it can allow with the use of other spells those casters to cast their spells more often. I do see how you can say it is a cover for a bad build. But I guess it's all on how you set your party up.
The BiP has to help build the players skill bars, or at least make sure the party knows what the purpose the BiP has and they can adjust their skills themselves.

I still don't like the BiP, don't think its necessary and it can be a weakness. Its a character that needs to stay out of the fray becayse it is extremely fragile, if it dies while other people not using any energy management theres no more energy management for anyone, and the list goes on.
And what characters do need a BiP? Monks spamming heal party?
Elementalists have attunements, MB, Gole, ER, all those glowing spells and a few more stuff.
Mesmers have strong energy management in inspiration and can borrow gole if need be.
Necromancers have Soul Reaping and SoLS.
Rits also have reasonable e-management if they actually need it with so many good skills at 5 energy.
Monks can use signets, gole. Yes monk heroes suck at energy management as every other hero, but human players don't need help. If you find that monk heroes are being a nuisance, you can always split the burden and give the protection to Necro hero or so.
The fighter professions just have great energy management naturally, and if they do zealous weapon its their best friend.

True, not everyone is going to run THE PERFECT BUILD.
So, I did arborstone with henchies and heros, sure it's not the hardest mission. But I want to get my point across.

I should also mention that I don't wanna spend money on 5 runes and -50 cresta. When you can die for free (I'm cheap)

Your kidding right? Unless you have IAS or hit multiple targets zealous is kind of useless other than that. If zealous was their best friend, every Warrior/Dervish/Assassin/any melee be carrying one, if they were so good.
